2024 Valentine Invitational

10 February 2024 - Our first-hosted meet of 2024 was a huge success. From Great-looking stocked snack tables to awards tables, our Valentine theme was beautifully displayed. Along with custom medals, special furry love-teddies were given to 11 & Unders & Roses to 14 & Over divers!
The table workers were supreme and the announcers shone.☀️

Speaking of shining..,
OZD Divers we’re on full display and in 95 % of their dives, looked as good as they have lately in practice. We still enjoyed lots of Progress Not Perfection. We are a long way from peaking for the big competitions.. we’ve had a string of bad weather & luck, but here are a few notables:

7 divers ~  8 1sts - 5 2nds - 1 3rd

We managed an overall 2nd place to a team of 14 divers. 

MATTHEW - 1st on 1m-2nd on 3m~threw his big dives admirably & bravely - showing all that it’s all mental👏🏼

AUBRIE - 1st on both boards~continues to improve inwards & is eager to get her harder dives on both boards💪🏻

LILLY - two 2nds - fought👏🏼 thru her new 203 and is eager to get her new dives as she moves up in age group.

ELIZA - two 1sts - showed how consistency is the name of the game and why she will get her new big dives soon🙏
